Tressor
Chile’s most happening DJ,
Pato Salinas a.k.a. DJ Tressor
has played in every important club, festival, and
event and raves in and around Chile. He is the owner
of the national and international DJ Booking agency
in Chile and co-owns the only DJ school in Chile since
1998. His popularity can be gauged by the fact that
Chemistry Holland chose him to be the resident DJ
of Chemistry South America. He began DJing quite early
on his life playing at local raves and doing gigs
at friends place. His passion for music was unmatched
and his energy levels high. Influenced by the dance
music scene around the world, he felt that his true
calling lay in DJing and subsequently in production.
He has worked with and shared stage
with the virtual who’s who of the dance music
scene and musical artists including The Chemical Brothers,
Blondie, Richie Hawtin, Erik Morillo, David Alvarado,
Tobi Neumann, Bill Patrick, and Gustavo Cerati, to
name just a few. His high energy levels and skills
behind the turntables set dance floors swaying with
his funky beats and sexy grooves making gyrating fans
asking for more. His techno, electro, and minimalist
style and his amazing ability to set three and four
turntables wouldn’t come as a surprise to those
who have watched his sessions.
He is working on a compilation CD
with Winston Sound in Peru, Chile and another one
‘Freak Groove’ on DNW records. When not
touring around the world, you can find his busy in
his studio, exploring new genre and creating amazing
sounds that are aimed at dance floor moves.
