Chus
Pulsating drums and great vibes
along with signature rhythms mean that you are in
the Chus territory. Chus L.Esteban
was born in Madrid in December of 1971. He started
of his musical odyssey when at 18 he began with a
club called Alien in Madrid. This was followed by
stints at Tropic Costa and Paladium before he got
a residency at Kadoc in Vilamoura, Portugal in 1992,
where he got his opportunity to play alongside famous
djs.
It was in September 1994 that he
started spinning vinyl in the most famous club of
Madrid ‘Teatro Kapital’, where you can
still find him on a weekly session called ‘Iberican
Sound’, come Thursdays.
From Pacha to Privilege to Space
and El Divino of Ibiza to Penelope and Ku of Benidorm,
Dreamers of marbella, Queens, La Madame and Illusion
of Grupo Matinee, to mention only a very, very few,
he has played in more than an incredible 300 top events,
around the world!
His production career started with
David Penn of Black Vinyl fame, an association that
gave hits like ‘Kadoc the night train’
and ‘Dj Chus Kapital of House’. He later
went on to work with productions like Polaris, Latin
Lovers and Nitro. He then joined forces with Pablo
Ceballos and Carlos Calico in March 2001 to start
a label, Stereo Productions. His repertoire as a remixer
is endless with remixes for Yoshitoshi and Cuba Computers
and Deep Dish Labels, to mention only a few.
His ‘DJ Chus Presents Iberican
Sounds’ featuring some great music on thirteen
tracks of producers from Spain and Portugal is a chartbuster.
Released by Defecetd records, UK, it showcases the
talent of this versatile genius.
