Mauro Picotto
A contemporary music icon in every
sense, Mauro Picotto
was born December 25th , 1966 in Cavour, Italy. He
enjoys rock star like status in his native, Italy
or for that matter in most parts of the world. From
Birmingham to Beunos Aires, from Cardiff to Asia,
he is a screaming success. You can always find him
gracing the covers of dance and style magazines all
over the world.
His compilations have stormed the
charts in Holland, Spain, France, UK, and Italy. His
tracks like ‘Awesome EP’ and ‘Lizard’
and his defining dance album relased in 2002 ‘The
Others’ have been selling copies running into
thousands in their first month of release. He is a
regular topper of chrats in UK. His ‘Metamorphose’,
a techno music compilation actually sold 60,000 copies,
without any hardcore trance marketing. Such is the impact
of his trance music.
Mauro released his
debut album ‘Others’ in 2002 . The album
stands testimony to his skills as a producer and a
DJ of the highest standards. The thumping success
of the album is keeping in with his ‘best selling’
reputation. His next album ‘Back to Cali’
with some great tracks including ‘We’re
Back’ and ‘Global Musik’ is rocking trance music clubs&
trance dance floors, all over the world.
This ‘jet-hopping’ DJ
is forever busy traveling, playing in front of some
of the biggest crowds. His energy and sheer musical
genius draws crowds by the hordes, wherever he is
playing. He performs at some of the best trance clubs and
trance events including regular guest spots in Ibiza.
