If it sounds different, then it must be ATB. ATB was the alias of DJ Andre Tanneberger. Born in Freilberg, Germany in 1973, ATB has created his own style and spirit, making him an instantly recognized DJ and an internationally successful producer, thrilling audiences worldwide.

ATB has reached the pinnacles of music after a decade and five ATB albums, the last three of which made it to the German Top 10. He is much sought after by international stars. He has performed with Bryan Adams at Rock in Rio and supplied remixes to pop legends including Aha, and associated with stars like Heather Nova, William Orbit, and Michael Cretu from Enigma.

His wonderfully harmonious and relaxed sounds have been the rage around dance floors. This special DJ combines trance with a wide variety of musical influences, making him a trend setter. While several DJs make it to the top after a long struggle, Andre was an instant hit with his first ATB track ‘9 P.M. (Till I Come)’, which topped UK charts in 1999 and made the music world sit up and notice.

Check out his great club track in the form of the single ‘Marrakech’, from the album ‘No Silence’. He changes the usual sound here completely but still retains the typical ATB character. The track became so popular that it was chosen for the title track for the action flick ‘Mindhunters’, starring Christian Slater and Val Kilmer.

Andre’s fifth album ‘No Silence’ saw him work with several artists like British vocalist Tiff Lacey apart from Roberta Carter Harrison from Canada who belts out ‘Let U Go’, ‘Hold You’ and ‘I Don’t Wanna Stop’.

Andre’s melancholic and spherical beats combined with superb female vocals make ‘No Silence’ a chart buster spreading the ATB gospel of music around the world. Andre’s commitment to music can be seen from his setting up the SEAP in Bochum with his producer and partner Woody Van Eyden, which is a ‘School for Engineering and Audio Producing’, where young aspiring producers can hone their professional skills before taking the plunge into the music business.
