The hard dance scene owes much to DJ Dana, born 8th July, 1974 in Netherlands. Her sell out performance before 7,000 frenzied fans at her very own Dana – X-clusive party in Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall stands testimony to her prowess with dance music. Her first album ‘ID & T’ sold a whopping 35,000 copies. If this is not astonishing, then her second one released in 2004 sold over 18,000 copies worldwide and that too within a week!

Dana has been nominated for a TMF award two years in a row. She was also voted the ‘Best Female DJ’ at the Dutch DJ awards and she entered the Mix Mag list of top 100 best DJs at #55. She has her own record label ‘Danamite’. Her smash hit ‘Dana-Restyled: Hardstyle’ was released under her own record label.

She started spinning vinyl about a decade ago and since then has come a long way. Her hard dance music with a rough feminine touch has set pulses racing across dance floors. A mix of techno, hardstyle, and trance is her signature sound. A livewire on sets, her popularity transcends beyond the borders of native Holland.

Touring extensively she has been able to connect with her fans in a never before manner. Her unique style and infectious energy have made her a one of a kind crowd pleaser. A versatile human being, she is also known to be working on her own cloth line.

Her mix of trance, techno, and hardstyle which is so typical of her sound is taking her places. For Lady Dana though, it is just a part of her musical evolution, while she continues forging ahead in her journey, exploring newer vistas in her DJing career.
