Danny Tenaglia

DJ Danny Tenaglia or simply DT, as he is known, was born in Brooklyn New York, where he stayed until he moved to Miami, Florida in 1985. Danny made a move back to New York years later, where he currently lives and performs. Danny’s beat-mixed dance compilations have caught the imagination of dance floors around the world.

It all started quite young for Danny, with first gigs in New York at the Roller Palace, Stix, and Crisco Disco. In Florida, Danny was a crowd pulling resident at Cheers. This amazing DJ-remixer-producer started out with his immensely popular debut album ‘Hard & Soul’ before coming out with chart busters like ‘Can Your Pussy Do The Dog?’, ‘Mix This Pussy’, ‘Color Me Danny’, and ‘Gag Me with a Tune’, to mention only a few.

His remixing skills caught the imagination of the music world and very soon he was a much sought after person. His collaborations read like the who’s who of the music world. He has in fact worked with renowned artists like Janet Jackson, Madonna, Grace Jones, Bette Middler, Cher, Pet Shop Boys, Blondie, and Kim Mazelle.

Danny has traveled all around the globe and performed before huge crowds, who can never have enough of him and his music. Having remixed and produced over 200 songs, Danny’s electric presence and groovy mixes has made him a favorite with crowds longing for his genre of music.

When not touring, Danny could be found in New York playing in some of the most popular spots in the city. Check out his monthly gig at ‘Vinyl’. If it is New York, music time, and you feel like shakin’ legs, then it must be Danny Tenaglia.
