DJ duo Deep Dish consists of Washington D.C based Ali ‘Dubfire’ Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi. This Grammy award winning duo has been recently listed #2 on Rolling Stone Magazine’s ‘Best Dance /DJ Artist’ list. The due first shot to prominence during 1998 after the release of their global smash hit debut album ‘Junk Science’, which saw them hopping continents and playing at the request of the world’s famous clubs. From 1015 in San Francisco to Buzz in D.C to The End in London, they have set dance floors afire everywhere

Deep Dish has been ranked #10 in the DJ Magazine UK and among the Top 100 DJs in readers’ poll for 2001. Their distinctive grooves meant that they were sought after by top artists like Pet Shop Boys, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and The Rolling Stones to remix in their own innovative style. It didn’t surprise many when Madonna decided to work with the duo for her ‘Maverick’. The track, a dance floor hit, throughout the world won them a Grammy award nomination for best remixer of the year. In fact, so impressed was Madonna that she invited the duo to share stage with her in one of her sell out North America live shows at New York’s Roseland Ballroom.

This versatile duo has also scored for a number of Versace fashion shows in Rome and Paris. Their ‘Yoshiesque 2’ release saw them again embark on a global tour, connecting with audiences like never before. Their first Grammy for ‘Best Remixed Recording’ came for Dido’s ‘Thank You’. This hardworking team continues to enthrall music lovers all over the world. And no one is complaining. Give us more ‘coz we can’t wait anymore.
