BT is the driving force currently driving dance floors, crazy. Perhaps the most accomplished when it comes to trance, Brian Transeau made a mega impact with releases like ‘Embracing the Sunshine’ and ‘Loving You More’ for Perfecto Records during the mid-90s period.

Both these dance floor staples, apart from reaching the UK charts, featured in a blockbuster by Sasha in BT’s successful debut album ‘Ima’. One of the biggest compliments that BT got was when his trendsetting ‘dream house’ style was widely impersonated by other artists. Rarely though could they match his original renditions.

His remixes including Grace’s UK Top 20 hit, ‘Not Over yet’ and Tori Amos’ ‘Blue Skies’, saw his popularity charts zoom. Then came his beautiful composition, a 25 minute single ‘Hand In Hand’ with singer Vincent Covello.

The follow-up single ‘Flaming June/Orbitus Terranium’ and his second album ‘E.S.C.M.’ were hugely successful featuring his unique array of sounds. One could hear sounds ranging from those of wild turkeys to the fabulous vocals of Manchester folk singer Jan Johnston and Sufi singer Culhane. An amazingly versatile musician, he changed tracks for his next October 1999 release ‘Movement In Still Life’, which saw some great funky breakbeats replacing trance.

This versatile genius has also composed the high octane film score for the blockbuster hit ‘The Fast and Furious’ apart from the haunting background score for Charlize Theron’s Academy Award-winning performance in ‘Monster’. He has also scored for Miramax’s ‘The Underclassman’, Sony’s ‘Stealth’, and ‘Under Suspicion’ and for the video game Tiger Woods Legends.

His creative urge and his mastery of keyboards along with his producing, songwriting, and orchestral talents meant that he collaborated with major artists including Sting, Madonna, Seal, Sarah McLachlan and David Bowie. His pioneering music still sets pulses racing across dance floors of the world
