Sensation Black is held annually. 2007 Sensation Black is a major trance event. A dance event located in the famous Olympic Stadium - Amsterdam Arena. Sensation Black 2007 (usually scheduled every second Saturday of July) will see more than 50,000 trance fans and trance party flockers from all over the globe. We have attended this event many times, we meet trance music fans that travel to this event from all corners of the entire globe. Really a pleasure of a music event.

ID&T organizes this event from their offices in Amsterdam. Sensation is known as the "World's leading dance event", with more than 50,000 people attending a single show this is a huge trance party. During the event, DJ's (Disk Jockeys) perform the act of mixing or deejaying trance music, and fans (dressed in black clothes from head to toe) dance to the hardcore trance music. This music venue has elaborate new technology & lighting effects, fireworks, live vocal performances and many new styles of visual effects and talent performances.

Changes in 2000 and 2001, the Sensation events, labeled 'Sensation' witnessed major shifts due to the major publicity & popularity. In 2002 the Sensation music event was turned into two distinct & separate trance style music editions: Sensation White, focusing on trance music, while Sensation Black features a more hard core, also known as hard trance music. There are many reasons for the changes: trance is often viewed as a softer style but there is also a very hard style of trance music. Sensation Black compliments both styles thus comparing the two genres thus the two separate editions. These changes gave fans a choice.

Sensation Black 2006 was a major hit with trance music fans. Sensation Black can be expected to grow fast in popularity and is demanded also in the United States. Every year, ID&T sells their annual album and all the singles contained for each music event, anthems, etc.
